Undergraduate course work introduces you to the experts, theories, and practices of your major field. Cultivating good research practices is essential to being able to investigate academic questions. This session will discuss best practices for approaching a research assignment and provide strategies for time management, developing good research habits, effectively using your resources, and problem-solving. Students will leave the session with an Action Plan for completing a course assignment that requires some research.

This class is interactive so please bring a draft of a course research assignment to create an Action Plan for. All international students, non-native English writers, and WRTG 1010/2010 students are encouraged to attend.
