Learn how to use Google Scholar for your research and what you can do to improve search results. We will also be showing you how Google Scholar Citations provides a simple way for you, as an author, to keep track of citations to your articles. You can check who is citing your publications, graph citations over time, and compute several citation metrics. You can also make your profile public, so that it may appear in Google Scholar results when people search for your name. This is a hands on training so attendees will need to have a gmail account. Contact the instructors anne.morrow@utah.edu or alison.regan@utah.edu if you need assistance in setting up a gmail account.
