Today images and multimedia are everywhere. The cognitive literature tells us that integrating visuals and multimedia with text can impact our emotions and motivation, as well as improve our retention of information. This session will provide strategies, tools, and guidelines for the “why” and “how” of using visual images and visual tools in your projects and teaching practice.
